BioVenton MBS – a new fast-acting, low-toxic and long-acting industrial biocide with a wide range of applications. It is used in water-based dispersions and coatings, paint industry and paper industry. It does not contain formaldehyde.

Scope of application

  • In aqueous interior paints;
  • In aqueous exterior paints;
  • Highly filled and highly pigmented watercolors;
  • In aqueous systems based on polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylic and styrene/acrylic homopolymer or copolymer;
  • In plasters;
  • In primers;
  • In sealants;
  • In emulsions of cutting fluids.

Dosage

BioVenton MBS can be added at 0.2-0.4% of the total weight of the paint.

Application

BioVenton MBS can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process. However, for better results, it is recommended to add it at the first stage of cooking the products.

Compatibility with other additives

BioVenton MBS is compatible with most of the different additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive must be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

BioVenton MBS can be delivered in a container. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In 30 kg drum;
In 200 kg plastic barrel;
In 1000 kg IBC tank.

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between +3°C and +20°C. The product is sensitive to frost. At temperatures below +1°C, active substances can crystallize. However, when heated, the crystals dissolve and the product can be reused without restrictions. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security precautions

When applying the biocide BioVenton MBS, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. It should be kept away from food.
