BioVenton K9N

BioVenton K9N – an industrial protective biocide with a wide range of applications. A fast-acting, low-toxic, non-oxidizing biocide based on isothiazolinone. It is used in water dispersion paint and varnish systems, water cooling and water purification systems, and in the pulp and paper industry. It does not contain formaldehyde.

Scope of application

  • In aqueous interior paints;
  • In aqueous exterior paints;
  • Highly filled and highly pigmented watercolors;
  • In aqueous systems based on polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylic and styrene/acrylic homopolymer or copolymer;
  • In plasters;
  • In primers;
  • In sealants.
  • In emulsions of cutting fluids.

Dosage

BioVenton K9N can be added at a rate of 0.05-0.5% of the total weight of the dye.

Application

BioVenton K9N can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process.

Compatibility with other additives

BioVenton K9N is compatible with most of the different additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive must be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

BioVenton K9N can be delivered in a container. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In 30 kg drum;
In 200 kg plastic barrel;
In 1000 kg IBC tank.

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between +3°C and +20°C. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security precautions

When applying the biocide BioVenton K9N, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. It should be kept away from food.
