BioVenton-BW 20

BioVenton BW 20 – an industrial microbiocide for aqueous systems such as oil-in-water emulsions, latexes, paints, adhesives, paper coating compositions, construction materials, aqueous pigments and mineral suspensions, inks, drilling reagents in oilfield services. It does not contain formaldehyde.

Scope of application

  • In aqueous interior paints;
  • In aqueous exterior paints;
  • In aqueous systems based on polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylic and styrene/acrylic homopolymer or copolymer;
  • In plasters, in primers; in sealants;
  • In emulsions of cutting fluids;
  • In paper production;
  • In the production of construction materials;
  • In oil mining.

Dosage

BioVenton BW 20 can be added at a rate of 0.05-0.25% of the total weight of the paint. In metallurgy, a maximum of 1.5% dry polysaccharides (and thickeners) are added in lubrication-cooling emulsion systems, and in oil production, a maximum of 4.5% by weight in drilling fluid systems.

Application

BioVenton BW 20 can be added at any stage of the production process.

Compatibility with other additives

BioVenton BW 20 is compatible with most of the different additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive must be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

BioVenton BW 20 can be delivered in a container. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In 30 kg drum;
In 200 kg plastic barrel;
In 1000 kg IBC tank.

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between 0°C and +30°C. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security precautions

When applying the biocide BioVenton BW 20, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. It should be kept away from food.
