BioVenton 14 – stabilized biocide concentrate with high stability. A fast-acting, low toxicity, non-oxidizing biocide based on isothiazolinone with a wide range of applications. Used in water dispersion systems, water cooling and water treatment systems, pulp and paper industry. Formaldehyde free.

Scope of application

  • In aqueous interior paints;
  • In aqueous exterior paints;
  • Highly filled and highly pigmented watercolors;
  • In aqueous systems based on polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylic and styrene/acrylic homopolymer or copolymer;
  • In plasters;
  • In primers;
  • In sealants.
  • In emulsions of cutting fluids.

Dosage

BioVenton 14 can be added at 0.005-0.025% of the total weight of the paint.

Application

BioVenton 14 can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process. For ease of dosing, the product can be diluted 10 times with
distilled water.

Compatibility with other additives

BioVenton 14 is compatible with most of the different additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive must be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

BioVenton 14 can be delivered in a container. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In 35 kg drum;
In 250 kg plastic barrel;
1200 kg IBC in tank.

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between 0°C and +30°C. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security precautions

When applying the biocide BioVenton 14, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. It should be kept away from food.
