Disperol® ST30 – it is a hydrophilic glycol ether with excellent surface tension reducing and coalescence properties. It is a relatively slow-evaporating solvent and is an effective coalescent in aqueous systems.

Scope of application

  • It is a good coalescent for aqueous construction paints and industrial coatings.
  • It is a binding agent and solvent in domestic and industrial cleaners, rust removers and disinfectants.
  • It is an ink solvent for ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens and textile dyeing and printing.
  • Coalescent to latex adhesives
  • It is a deactivator and a stabilizer for pesticides.

Dosage

Disperol® ST30 can generally be added at an amount of 0.2-1.0% of the total mass of the watercolor.

Application

Coalescent Disperol® ST30 should be added after the mineral fillers and pigments have been added and dispersed into the aqueous medium.

Compatibility with other additives

Disperol® ST30 is compatible with most of the various additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive must be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

Additive bulk can be supplied. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In 30 L canister;
In 200 L plastic barrel;
In 1000 L IBC tank

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between -30°С and +30°С. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security precautions

When applying Disperol® ST30, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. It should be kept away from food.
