DİSPEROL® ST10

Disperol® ST10 – it is a hydrophobic glycol ether with excellent surface tension lowering and coalescence properties. It is a relatively slow-evaporating solvent. It is one of the most effective coalescers in aqueous latex systems.

Scope of application

  • Coalescent in latex-based aqueous coatings; Used as a solvent in domestic and industrial cleaners, lubricants and paints
  • It is a good solvent for aqueous and non-aqueous paint and varnish coatings;
  • It is used as a chemical intermediate for the production of epoxies, acid esters, solvents and plasticizers.

Dosage

Disperol® ST10 can generally be added at an amount of 0.2-1.0% of the total mass of the watercolor.

Application

Koalesan Disperol® ST10 should be added to the paint after the mineral fillers and pigments have been added and dispersed.

Compatibility with other additives

Disperol® ST10 is compatible with most of the various additives used in watercolors.

Warning

The composition of the paint and the dosage of the additive should be determined by laboratory tests.

Packaging

Additive bulk can be supplied. Additionally, it is possible to supply in the following ways:
In a 30 L canister;
In 200 L plastic barrel;
In 1000 L IBC tank

Storage and expiration date

It should be stored at temperatures between -25°С and +30°С. The expiration date is 12 months from the date of production in the original closed packaging under the specified storage conditions.

Security measures

When applying Disperol® ST10, it is necessary to use protective clothing, gloves, glasses and masks and comply with industrial safety rules. Direct contact with eyes and skin should be avoided during storage and use. In case of swallowing, seek medical help immediately. Should be kept away from foods.
